About Course

As a business analyst, you will be expected to work with various team members in your organization, such as the software engineers, data analyst, UI/UX designers etc. In this course, you will learn what business analysis is, who is a business analyst, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how to gather the necessary requirements for a project.

You will also understand how to create userflows, wireframes and storyboards which are integral to any software development. Finally, you’ll learn about managing tasks and events within a Sprint, Scrum terminology and roles, Scrum reporting, managing risks and you’ll be introduced into Quality Assurance Testing (QA Testing).

  • Userflows, wireframe and storyboard design: As a business analyst, you need to be able to capture how your users will get value from your product. After researching who your users are and having a clear understanding of their needs, you need to show a clear understand of their journey using your product. Here, you will learn how to create userflows and journey maps to illustrate a user's journey. Also, you you will learn how to create wireframe and design storyboards in other to further show what and tell how your product will be structured.
  • Agile Product Development: Go deeper into Agile product management and Lean methodologies and discover how they work in tandem to enable integrated product teams to move quickly, and rapidly iterate toward product-market fit and successfully launching a product. Learn how a Business Analyst works with all the development teams through the details of Agile software development practices, including core Agile principles and values, preparing user stories, and completing Agile story mapping.
